Responsibility

Driving Environmental Action, Social Impact, and Governance Excellence at High Street Logistics Properties

At High Street Logistics Properties, we are committed to sustainable growth and responsible stewardship of the environment, our employees, and the communities where we operate. Our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy is deeply integrated into every aspect of our business, from investment decisions to property management.

Our ESG Strategy

Our approach is structured around three key pillars—Climate, Citizenship, and Risk—which guide our efforts to create long-term value for our stakeholders and contribute positively to the environment and society.

Through these pillars, we aim to not only meet but exceed industry standards, aligning our practices with global frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). Our goal is to continue advancing our ESG strategy while maintaining a focus on sustainable growth, environmental stewardship, and positive social impact.

Sustainability Policy

Climate

We are committed to reducing our operational carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency across our portfolio. This includes proactive measures such as solar energy installations and efforts to minimize water consumption and improve the sustainability of building materials.

Citizenship

Our focus on social responsibility extends to the well-being of our employees and tenants. Through health and safety programs, tenant engagement, and employee satisfaction initiatives, we strive to foster a positive and inclusive environment. In addition, we actively support our local communities through volunteerism and charitable contributions.

Risk

Governance and compliance are at the core of our business operations. We continuously ensure adherence to environmental laws, health and safety standards, data privacy, and transparency. Our ESG initiatives are overseen by a Board-Level ESG Committee, which drives our commitment to ethical stewardship and governance excellence.

Environmental Responsibilty

We recognize the significant impact real estate can have on the environment. That’s why we focus on reducing our carbon footprint, improving energy efficiency, and minimizing waste. Through partnerships, like our collaboration with Altus Power, we are implementing solar energy solutions across our portfolio, with active solar projects already underway.

In addition, we have achieved IREM® Certified Sustainable Property designations for 13 sites, reflecting our dedication to energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable building practices. Our focus on environmental sustainability is driven by:

Carbon Emissions Reduction

Measuring and reducing carbon emissions at all stages of our asset lifecycle.

Climate Risk Management

Assessing and mitigating the physical and regulatory risks posed by climate change across our assets.

Governance Responsibility

At High Street, strong governance is central to our operations. We adhere to the highest standards of transparency and compliance, ensuring that our stakeholders are informed and engaged. Our governance framework includes:

Ethics and Compliance

Ensuring all employees follow strict guidelines outlined in our Code of Ethics & Compliance Manual.

Board-Level ESG Oversight

A dedicated ESG committee oversees the implementation of our strategy and ensures that we are on track to meet our long-term goals.

Data Accuracy and Reporting

Continuously improving our data collection processes for more reliable reporting on energy, water, and waste consumption.

ESG Reporting

At High Street Logistics Properties, we are committed to transparency and accountability through rigorous reporting standards that align with global ESG frameworks. ESG reports are available upon request.

SFDR Compliant Vehicles

Certain vehicles comply with the requirements of Article 8 of the SFDR regulation.
