Michael J. Ruen
Senior Managing Director, Separate Accounts/JVs & Development
Mr. Ruen is a Principal and Senior Managing Director for Separate Accounts/JVs & Development responsible for the investment of separate account and joint venture capital in land and property acquisition for development/redevelopment across High Street’s regions nationally. Mr. Ruen has been active for 30 years in industrial and logistics property investment, development and operations. Prior to joining High Street, he was with DCT Industrial Trust for 14 years where he was Managing Director responsible for development and operations for the Eastern US and served as a member of the Executive Management Team. Before joining DCT, Mr. Ruen was with Prologis for 10 years where he served as Senior Vice President and Southeast Regional Head for investment and operations. Mr. Ruen holds a BS from University of Alabama and a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) from Georgia State University. Mr. Ruen is a member of High Street’s Management Committee.
Jay Puckhaber
Managing Director, Development & Construction
Mr. Puckhaber is Managing Director for Development and Construction responsible for development and construction of both ground-up and re-development projects, including oversight of property tenant work and capital projects, across all funds and separate accounts/JVs. Mr. Puckhaber has over 22 years of development and construction experience including all facets of design, engineering, entitlements, contract negotiation, pre-development, project management and build-to-suit. Prior to joining High Street, he spent 4 years with DCT/Prologis as Senior Vice President of Development/Construction for the East Region. Before Joining DCT, Mr. Puckhaber spent 10 years with Panattoni Development as the Senior Development Manager for National Build to Suit projects. Mr. Puckhaber holds a Civil Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Georgia State University.
James R. Redland
Managing Director, Joint Ventures & Separate Accounts
Mr. Redland is responsible for overseeing acquisitions nationwide for Joint Ventures & Separate Accounts. Mr. Redland joined High Street in May 2018 after 19 years at First Industrial Realty Trust. During his tenure at First Industrial Realty Trust, Mr. Redland was involved in over $3.5 billion of transactions with his most recent role as a Senior Investment Officer. Prior to joining First Industrial Realty Trust, he served as a Financial Analyst at The Greenwich Group International in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Redland holds a BS in Public Affairs with a concentration in Management and a minor in Biology from Indiana.
Kelly Mills, PE
Director, Development & Construction
Ms. Mills is responsible for supporting all aspects of development and construction, with an emphasis on land acquisition, entitlement and permitting of new construction, and tenant improvements. Ms. Mills has a combined 17 years of experience in design, development, and construction. Prior to joining High Street, she spent 7 years as Vice President of Engineering for Becknell Industrial, managing a team of engineers to execute on pre-development and permitting of over $800 million in new development across the country. Before Becknell, Ms. Mills spent over 10 years as a civil engineer with various Chicagoland design firms. Ms. Mills holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Robert Martin
Senior Development Manager
Mr. Martin is responsible for supporting all aspects of development and construction activities and has a primary roll in the execution of land acquisitions, new construction, and capital projects with tenant improvements. Mr. Martin has over 24 years of construction experience including multiple facets of management, preconstruction, design, contract negotiation, project management and project execution. Prior to joining High Street, he was in leadership roles at Talley-Riggins Construction and Arch-Con Corporation guiding their expansive growth in the Industrial and Office markets. Prior to these opportunities, Mr. Martin spent over 15 years in construction with Jordan Foster, Cadence McShane, and Rogers-O’Brien Construction. Mr. Martin hold a BS in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
John B. Ganter
Senior Development Manager
Mr. Ganter is responsible for supporting all aspects of development and construction with an emphasis on land acquisitions, entitlements, permitting, and oversight of new construction projects as well as capital projects with tenant improvements. Mr. Ganter has over 14 years of development and construction experience including all facets of design, engineering, entitlements, contract negotiation, pre-development, project management, and build-to-suit. Prior to joining High Street, he was in a leadership role at Portman Holdings overseeing execution of development projects across the Industrial, Residential, and Commercial development platforms. Before Portman, Mr. Ganter spent over 8 years with Holder Construction in various roles overseeing teams and executing projects across the Southeastern United Sates. Mr. Ganter holds a BS in Building Construction from Georgia Tech.
Brett M. Bousquet
Senior Investment Associate
Brett Bousquet joined High Street in 2020 as a Senior Investment Analyst. Mr. Bousquet is responsible for supporting all aspects related to acquisition and underwriting across High Street’s Fund Investments. Prior to joining High Street, Mr. Bousquet was an Analyst at Starwood Retail Partners working within the Asset Management Group in Chicago. In this role, Mr. Bousquet provided strategic analysis by underwriting new acquisition opportunities, evaluated new lease deals, and created investment memorandums. Mr. Bousquet earned his BA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Andrey Kuzmin
Associate, Development Analyst
Mr. Kuzmin is responsible for supporting all aspects of the development process in each of High Street’s regions. Prior to joining High Street, Mr. Kuzmin was an Acquisitions Associate at Outour Storage in Atlanta. In this role, Mr. Kuzmin led outdoor storage acquisition efforts across the United States, negotiated lease agreements and coordinated equity and debt partnerships. Prior to Outour Storage, Mr. Kuzmin worked as an investment banking associate at Stephens Inc. Mr. Kuzmin earned his BS in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University and his MS in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
